Uakii Wilderness Survival is a locally-owned ecotourism company that operates
a series of unique courses and expeditions aimed at promoting conservation,
cultural experiences and wilderness survival.

“Uakii” is derived from the Herero “uaakisa” meaning to “enlighten” or “bring
light to”. We strongly believe in building bridges across cultures and transcending
cultural barriers in a non-intrusive and respectful manner by upholding the integrity
and celebrating the uniqueness of all human beings.

Your host Peter-Hain Uaakisa Kazapua will guide you in meeting, interacting and
learning about Namibia’s indigenous ethnic groups in their traditional surroundings,
because our culture and heritage is our pride!
