The objectives of the Association are as follows:

To promote the welfare and interests of all its members in all fields connected with game ranching and wildlife production.
To act as a channel of communication between members and the Government of Botswana and its various Departments and agencies and other relevant non-governmental organisations.

To promote and encourage sound ethical practices and environmental conservation.

To maximise the benefits from wildlife conservation and production to all sections of society.

To promote and encourage consultation between and amongst its members.

To provide information and advice on all matters mentioned above.

To form such branches, local committees, sub committees or other bodies as may be desirable.

To acquire, dispose of, let, hire, or otherwise deal with property, both movable and immovable, corporeal and incorporeal, insofar as such dealings may be conducive to the financial well being of the Association and to the better attainment of its objectives and ideals.

To watch over and keep members informed on the operation of existing laws and practices, the activities of Government, Government agencies, local authorities, and other bodies of whatever nature insofar as such activities may affect the interests of members.

Generally to do such things and other acts as are, or may be, conducive to or incidental to either directly or indirectly the attainment of the above objectives.
