Omuramba Hunting Lodge, a Herero name meaning “dry river-bed”, is owned by Gert Koekemoer, third generation of Namibian and Dutch origin.

Omuramba Hunting Lodge is a small thatched oasis nestling in a large private game reserve with a private and relaxed atmosphere.

It is a wildlife paradise (33 000ha) of beautiful thorn bush savannah with excellent hunting opportunities. It is of high importance that our hunting guests get looked after personally and individually with more than 40 years hunting experience. Omuramba harbours more than 20 species of wildlife including Warthog, Kudu, Eland, Oryx, Hartebeest, Springbuck, Giraffe, Blue and Black wildebeest and many more.

We also offer a variety of other activities, such as horseback riding. Facilities such as a swimming pool and Jacuzzi are also available for the leisure of our guests. The farm is also truly a hiker’s paradise with beautiful scenery and sunsets.
