Wildernis Trophy Hunting is situated east of the town of Grootfontein and not far from the world renowned Etosha Game Reserve. This translates to a 6-hour drive (350 miles) from the Hosea Kutako International Airport outside the capital city of Windhoek. Wildernis Ranch offers the hunter, with either bow or rifle, the experience of a lifetime.
At this ranch, which is owned and managed by Hans Opperman, you can experience the African wilderness in comfort while hunting real trophy game. Wildernis Ranch specializes in Eland (the largest antelope) and Kudu, and also offers some 16 species of game. With some 400 odd species of wild birds you can also test your hunting skills on Guinea Fowl, Sand Grouse, Franklin and Doves.
The ranch (some 44 500 acres) offers comfortable accommodation with a huge thatched lapa which includes a bar and satellite television, dining area and lounge to relax. Internet services are also available at your convenience. A well trained team will cater to your every need including gourmet African meals, drinks and a daily laundry service.
