African Game Tannery, situated just outside the town of Swartruggens, in the North West province of South Africa, was established out of necessity for an all-round tannery that specializes in the tanning of game skins and Nguni hides.

North West province hosts many world class game farms that are visited annually by various foreign hunters, and especially local biltong hunters. Owner George Bester, also a farmer of Nguni cattle, prides himself in the quality of tanned Nguni hides he supplies to his customers, especially members of the interior decorating fraternity.

Being a keen hunter himself, he understands the value hunters attribute to their trophies when they decide to have their game skins tanned. Long after the hunt, memories are kept alive by a beautiful tanned skin to be boasted with.
