HUNTING DESTINATIONS REGISTER (HDR) - 2010
Africa De Sud is appointed in 2008 by SA Hunters & Game Conservation Association (SAHGCA) to compile and facilitate their Hunting Destination Register.
This register will verify all hunting destinations (Hunting Farms or Outfitters) or hunting activities (Taxidermis, Game Dealers, Game Captures etc) in Southern Africa for the prospective international or local hunter by means of a link from the websites of SAHGCA, CHASA, TASA (South Africa) and NAPHA (Namibia), BWMA – Botswana and at the current moment. A link to the Hunting Destinations Register from Hunting Organisations in other countries will be available soon.
Prospective Hunters can verify any hunting facility in Southern Africa by choosing the area/province/country first and them select an Tag (the type of hunting facility). After this a hunter can choose an facilty and verify the Accommodation, Coldroom, Slaughter Facility, Game Ranch Owner status or only concessions, Outfitters permit validation, Membership status (if a facility does not have a coldroom the word Coldroom will not appear in the HDR block).
This verification system was done physically by a consultant of Africa de Sud at the destination premises and verified by photo’s and certificates/licences on a database that was/will be avialable to all the mentioned Hunting Organisations (from end Nov 08). This means that all hunting facilities that is on this register is a ligitamed hunting destinations/facility and can be used with confidence.
Hunting destinations / facilities can subcribe to the Hunting Destination Register at a first cost of R 990.00 untill end 2009 and thereafter the same cost for 2010. The contract is for two years. New clients for 2010 will be till end 2011.
